When thinking about new ways to have your guests RSVP think about Facebook! I have found several people use this tool in order to have a better way to connect with friends of family! So what better way that to connect with Facebook and create a group specifically designed just for your wedding! Most people now days are always on Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter! This is great for the technologically advanced bride!

Party favor idea!
I recently did a 50th wedding anniversary and they had the nicest and most personlized party favor. Each guest was provided a small bottle of Chardonnay with the picture of the couple on the label. What a neat idea! It is definitely something that people will cherish and take home to keep as a souvenier.

27 dresses dilema? I've got the answer
The other day I met a new vendor who I thought had a fabulous idea. She has a new website where you can sell your gently used bridesmaids dresses on her site! Do you have too many dresses your closet is full? Try this site out and it might help.

Bridal Bouquet
When thinking of some creative ideas on your bridal bouquet...consider this:
I thought this was a beautiful idea that had the entire family involved. My sister-in-law gave flowers to significant people in her life and one had the ribbon that would tie all the flowers together. While she was walking down the aisle, she began collecting these flowers from each of them (of course they being at the end of the aisle). By the time she reached the altar she had her mother tie the flowers to make a beautiful bouquet out of it! She really wanted to have her and her fiance's family involved. It was a great way of uniting the whole family! It held extreme significance to her and to all of us who participated. What a neat idea!

Finding Help for your wedding

When planning a wedding many of my brides think that they can get friends & family to help out. While that may be good for some I would have to say that I don't always recommend that. I've had many of the DIY brides that tell me, "Audrey, I want to do my own centerpieces and my MOH, BMs, & MOB have all promised me to be there to set up the centerpieces. I trust them with my life and therefore I TOTALLY trust them with this." I always recommend to the bride that although they may be your "knights in shining amor" don't trust them. They will be too busy getting ready themselves and will not even consider or even remember helping out. They always tend to forget. Please consider hiring professionals that do this for a living. It will give you peace in the long run knowing that you have hired a professional florist for example, who will deliver, set up, & break down. Don't try to be your own hero! Take it from my personal experience! PHOTO COURTESY OF JAMES TONGOL PHOTOGRAPHY
